Okay, so things are rough for Mike again – that’s Josh Hutcherson’s character. Just when he thought he’d survived facing off against those terrifying animatronics, it looks like they’re coming back to haunt him! Here’s what Universal Pictures has to say about the new movie…
It’s been a year since the frightening events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The story has become a local legend, and the town is celebrating with a festival called Fazfest. Mike, a former security guard, and Vanessa, a police officer, have been hiding the truth about what happened to Abby’s animatronic friends from Abby, Mike’s eleven-year-old sister. But when Abby secretly goes to see Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it triggers a terrifying chain of events. These events will uncover the dark origins of Freddy’s and unleash a horror that has been hidden for decades.
Emma Tammi is directing the upcoming film Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, and Scott Cawthon, the creator of the game series, wrote the screenplay. The film brings back Theodus Crane and Matthew Lillard, who played Jeremiah and William Afton in the previous movie. Joining the cast are new faces like Freddy Carter (known from Shadow and Bone), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), and Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters). The film will also feature a fun reunion for Scream fans, with Skeet Ulrich appearing alongside another original Ghostface killer.
What Is the Release Date for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2?
Will Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 be as popular as the first movie? We believe it has a good chance! But we’ll have to wait and see when it hits theaters on December 5, 2025.
