The movie begins a year after the terrifying events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While the story of what happened has become a local legend and inspired a town festival called Fazfest, former security guard Mike and police officer Vanessa are hiding the truth about the animatronics from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby.
When Abby secretly meets up with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it kicks off a frightening chain of events. These events uncover the hidden and disturbing history of Freddy’s, and awaken a horror that has been buried for decades, according to the film’s official description.
Alongside Josh Hutcherson and Bill Skarsgård, the movie stars Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa, Piper Rubio as Abby, and Theodus Crane is back as Jeremiah. New to the cast for this installment are Freddy Carter, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Skeet Ulrich. Bill Skarsgård will once again play the role of the villain, William Afton.
This PG-13 movie blends suspense and horror, capturing the feel of the original video games. It premiered in theaters on November 5, 2023, and quickly gained a dedicated following among fans.
