
Netflix is set to release a new holiday romantic comedy called A Merry Little Ex-Mas on November 12.
Steve Carr directed the movie, and Holly Hester wrote the script. The film stars Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson, Jameela Jamil, Pierson Fodé, and Melissa Joan Hart.
This heartwarming story centers on a couple going through a divorce who decide to celebrate one final Christmas with their kids. However, their plans are disrupted when the husband’s new girlfriend unexpectedly arrives, throwing the family into a whirlwind of complications.
Dealing with an ex can really make the holidays stressful, and that’s the premise of the new movie, *A Merry Little Ex-Mas*. Starring Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson, Jameela Jamil, Pierson Fodé, and Melissa Joan Hart, it premieres November 12th.

Filming for the movie began in Toronto on February 3rd and lasted through March. Hartbreak Films produced the project, with Paula Hart and Melissa Joan Hart as the producers.
Netflix revealed the movie was coming in 2025 back in January, and later set the release date for November 12th. A trailer is now available, offering a sneak peek at the film’s mix of comedy and heartwarming holiday story.
