First Teaser for A24’s ‘Bring Her Back’ Drops – From the Directors of ‘Talk to Me’!

I’m thrilled to share that the initial trailer for “Bring Her Back,” the upcoming chilling masterpiece from the talented duo Danny and Michael Philippou, has finally dropped! As a die-hard fan of their spine-tingling hit horror movie “Talk to Me,” I’ve been on tenterhooks, eagerly anticipating their next venture. From the looks of it, this film promises to deliver an abundance of heart-stopping moments that will undoubtedly send shivers down our spines!

The movie features Sally Hawkins, recognized from “The Shape of Water”, as well as Billy Barratt, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Stephen Phillips, Sora Wong, and Liam Damons. Although the storyline remains largely undisclosed, the initial trailer offers a sneak peek into the chilling and suspenseful environment that viewers might encounter.

The plot, while largely undisclosed, has recently revealed that it centers around a sibling duo uncovering a chilling tradition within the isolated dwelling of their recent foster parent.

In April 2024, it became known that the Philippou brothers were developing their upcoming horror movie. This film is set to be distributed globally by A24, a studio renowned for its horror productions. The production of this movie was undertaken by Causeway Films, with further assistance from RackaRacka, the South Australian Film Corporation, and Salmira Productions.

Filming was conducted in June 2024, primarily in Adelaide, South Australia, as well as nearby locations such as Lightsview. The filming process continued for 41 days before completion. In February 2025, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions obtained the distribution rights for countries around the world, excluding China, Russia, and Japan.
