As a lifelong comic book enthusiast and a self-proclaimed Nicolas Cage superfan, I can confidently say that the upcoming Spider-Man Noir series starring the one and only Mr. Cage is shaping up to be nothing short of extraordinary!
The upcoming Sony and MGM television series titled “Spider-Noir” featuring Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man, is highly anticipated within the SSU (Sony Spider-Man Universe). This series marks Cage’s return to the character he played in the animated Spider-Verse films, but this time in a live-action setting. Given the excitement surrounding his role and the transition from animation to live-action, the project is expected to be fantastic.
The upcoming series, comprising eight episodes, is set to debut no sooner than late 2025 or possibly 2026. This is because filming will be wrapped up by early 2025. The television show was created by Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot, who are also responsible for its overall direction. It centers around the tale of Spider-Man Noir, a beloved version of Spider-Man from the Spider-Verse movies.
