Snake Eyes in Film and Past Video Games

In the action-packed 2021 flick called “Snake Eyes,” I found myself right in the thick of it. This movie took a deep dive into my origins and set the stage for a fresh take on the G.I. Joe universe, hoping to kickstart a new era for this iconic series.

Although we haven’t heard if the new game features continuity with the character from previous versions, it represents another installment in the ongoing series of G.I. Joe video games.

The history of gaming for this franchise stretches back to 1983 with the release of “G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike” on Atari, and the latest addition is “G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout,” a 2020 third-person shooter, developed by IguanaBee.

As a die-hard fan here, I can’t help but get excited about the rumors swirling around the potential clash of titans – a live-action GI Joe versus Transformers showdown, featuring none other than Chris Hemsworth!
