
AppleTV+ has unveiled the first trailer for *The Family Plan 2*, the follow-up to their popular 2023 action-comedy. The movie stars returning favorites Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, and Van Crosby, and welcomes Kit Harington to the cast.
The film, directed by Simon Cellan Jones and written by David Coggeshall, follows Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) as he tries to create a dream European Christmas vacation for his family. However, his past life as a secret agent resurfaces, throwing the trip – and his family’s safety – into jeopardy.

Mark Wahlberg stars in the film, and Michelle Monaghan returns as his wife, Jessica Morgan, who used to be a decathlete. Their children are played by Zoe Colletti as Nina and Van Crosby as Kyle, a gamer known online as “Kylleboi.” Kit Harington joins the cast as Aidan, and Sidse Babett Knudsen and Sanjeev Bhaskar play Svetlana and Vikram. Reda Elazouar and Daniel de Bourg also appear in the movie.
The follow-up to the original was first revealed in October 2024. Many of the original actors returned, and by December 2024, Kit Harington and Fatima Elazouar had also joined the cast. Filming began in January and finished in March.
