In this new installment titled “The Accountant 2”, we’re afforded an initial glimpse of Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal reprising their roles as Christian Wolff and his sibling, Brax respectively.
At SXSW 2025, happening from March 7 to 15, “The Accountant” sequel is scheduled to appear, being one of the main attractions.
In the year 2016, the initial film hit the screens with a production cost of approximately $44 million, and it managed to earn more than $155 million. If you’re fond of action movies similar to “John Wick”, then you’ll probably enjoy “The Accountant” as well.
What is The Accountant 2 about?
The official description offers:
Christian Wolff is coaxed out of seclusion by Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina following the brutal murder of someone they both know, committed by unidentified gunmen. To uncover the truth behind this crime, Wolff finds it necessary to enlist the aid of his distant brother Brax, who happens to be extremely skilled and deadly.

Release info
The sequel to “The Accountant” is set for release on April 25, 2025. Director Gavin O’Connor will once again take the helm, with Bill Dubuque penning the screenplay.
