As a frequent visitor of Universal Studios, let me tell you, the lineup for Halloween Horror Nights 2024 is absolutely terrifying…in the best possible way! The Formandy Factory dessert sounds like a sinfully delicious treat that I’ll have to try, and the Pumpkin Guts dish from Goblin’s Feast seems like the perfect autumn meal.

Halloween Horror Nights is THE event of the BEST season for horror lovers, Halloween season lovers, theme park lovers, and so many more passionate people alike. Of course, every year, eager fans, new and old, clamor to hear which haunted houses Universal Orlando will feature. This year, there are some horrific choices inspired by beloved franchises like A Quiet Place, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Insidious. But let’s face it. The one thing everyone wants to know more about is what new deliciously twisted food and drinks will be available at Halloween Horror Nights 2024.

The Fang-tastic New Food Offerings at Halloween Horror Nights 2024 in Universal Orlando

At TopMob, we understand that even the grimmest stories can hide a spark of beauty. And for Halloween Horror Nights 2024, they’re taking this concept to extraordinary heights with their 2024 food selections! From the intriguing opportunity to savor the Stay-Puft marshmallow man (a somewhat macabre delight!) to a savory treat of Pumpkin Guts (the most aesthetically pleasing innards you could ever encounter!), Halloween Horror Nights is pushing the boundaries of spooky deliciousness this year.

We break down the Halloween Horror Nights 2024 food items below:

Wooden Board Éclair, Inspired By A Quiet Place

For Halloween Horror Night 2024, this dessert is an éclair filled with spicy dark chocolate cream and dipped in rich chocolate ganache. It’s adorned with a gruesome chocolate plank that appears to emerge from chocolate stairs, a striking decoration for this Halloween-themed food item. Fans of “A Quiet Place” will undoubtedly recognize the ominous figure it portrays. We can’t get enough of its intricate and gory design. The blood-stained metallic chocolate nail at the base might even make fans weep, not just because they fear getting hurt by a real nail, but also due to the emotional impact of the movie.

It’s unlikely you’d accidentally step on the eclair, but just as a precaution, try not to make any noise when you take a bite, not even a happy one, as they can hear you.

Mini Stay-Puft S’more, Inspired By Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

In a delightful twist for Halloween Horror Night 2024, feast your eyes on the adorable Mini Stay-Puft S’more! Based on Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, this tasty treat features a mini marshmallow representation of the iconic Stay-Puft marshmallow man, sandwiched between a chocolate bar and graham cracker. Despite his mischievous history, it’s hard not to feel sympathy for him, as he meets his sweet end. The inside is likely gooey and delicious, but his cute appearance might make devouring him a challenge. However, imagine you’re granting this Mini Stay-Puft marshmallow man a final farewell by enjoying him completely!

Slimer’s Korean Corndog, A Halloween Horror Night 2024 Food Item Inspired By Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

At Halloween Horror Nights 2024, get ready to indulge in a tantalizing feast similar to Slimer’s favorite junk food, featuring an array of treats like Cheetos and more! The star dish is the Slimer’s Korean Corndog – a Korean cheese dog wrapped in Fritos, dusted with Cheetos powder, seasoned with ghost pepper spice, and smothered with sage derby cheese and mozzarella. Yes, you heard it right, this delightful yet terrifying snack combines Fritos, Cheetos, and two types of cheese! Slimer himself would be thrilled to haunt a mountain of these mouthwatering treats.

The Red Door Inspired By Insidious: The Further

In the universe of ‘Insidious’, the Red Door conceals terrifying demons. However, during Halloween Horror Nights 2024 at Universal Orlando, the Red Door will offer a far more enticing alternative – a vegan handpie filled with potatoes and onions instead. We dare say it’s quite delicious! Unlike its demonic counterpart, this version of The Red Door is friendly and welcoming. It won’t try to consume your soul but rather, it’s a tasty treat. The pastry design even mimics the bold color and iconic T shape of the ‘Insidious’ entranceway. So, if you dare, sink your teeth into this delectable demonic portal – one of the must-try food items at Halloween Horror Nights 2024!

The Bride’s Cake Inspired By Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines

We are so excited for Halloween Horror Nights 2024’s Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines house and the food item that it inspires. For the unitiated, this epic Haunted House invites you to, “Get caught in an epic battle as Saskia Van Helsing and the Bride of Frankenstein go up against Dracula’s daughter and her monstrous mavens.” This haunted house sounds like it could offer us some very queer horror adventures and we feel obsessed with it.

Instead of saying “But what it will absolutely give us is The Bride’s Cake,” you could rephrase it as “What we’ll definitely get is the Bride’s Cake.” This Halloween Horror Nights food item is essentially a three-tiered vanilla cake coated in chocolate, filled with raspberry jam. In essence, it seems like they’ve transformed the Bride into a Frankenstein-like cake or vice versa. The interior is an eerie shade of green and appears to bleed raspberry filling, making it look quite gruesome. We’re all for this cannibalistic cake, and we can hardly wait to take a bite!

Heart “Beet” Tostada, A Halloween Horror Night 2024 Food Item Inspired By Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America

Title Switch-Up: “Heart ‘Root of Fear’!” The team behind Halloween Horror Nights has cleverly named this dish. Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America is yet another spine-tingling haunted house we can’t wait to explore. But the thrills don’t stop there, as its food counterpart promises a screamingly delightful experience too! This Root of Fear Tostada features a red beet tartar, hummus, vegan feta, and watercress on a crunchy tortilla. It’s another tasty vegan option for Halloween Horror Nights 2024.

Poison Apple Inspired By Major Sweets Candy Factory

At the Major Sweets Candy Factory, it’s crucial to create something deliciously terrifying or else Major Sweets might have to retire. Fortunately, the Poison Apple seems like a classic hit, so Major Sweets is safe for now. This devilishly glossy apple is in fact a caramel mousse with an apple filling and a streusel cake molded into an apple shape. During Halloween Horror Nights 2024, the free samples at the Major Sweets Candy Factory haunted house might be lethal, but we’ll definitely grab some if we stumble upon it.

Pumpkin Guts Inspired By Goblin’s Feast

At The Goblin’s Banquet Haunted House, guests become the menu items for the goblins, orcs, hobgoblins, and witches. The attraction description reads, “Step into a goblin village, where a grand feast is being prepared for these creatures, with you as the star ingredient.” However, outside the village, it’s us who dine, savoring Pumpkin Guts, a delightful mix of butternut squash and zucchini noodles, adorned with pumpkin seeds and “brown butter,” all nestled within an acorn squash. This vegan dish is guaranteed to satisfy with its rich texture and flavors. It seems even vegetarian orcs crave something tasty to eat! After all, every orc has its unique tastes.

Harissa BBQ Turkey Wing, Another Halloween Horror Night 2024 Food Item Inspired By Goblin’s Feast

Orcs do love to say that meat is on the menu, though. So this saucy wing, which looks almost disturbingly good, is just the right offering for them. This food item is a crispy turkey wing coated with a spicy harissa BBQ sauce. Perfect for Orcs or when you turn into a goblin because your stomach is rumbling.
