First Look at ‘Jumanji 3’ Revealed With Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black

The first images from Jumanji 3 are here, and they show Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black reuniting to film the latest installment in the popular Jumanji series.

Johnson Shares Behind-the-Scenes Video

Dwayne Johnson shared a new video showing his drive to the set in Los Angeles, letting fans know that filming has officially begun. He mentioned the cast recently had their first read-through of the script and that, for the first time in the recent Jumanji films, they’ll be shooting entirely in LA. Previous movies were filmed in Hawaii and Atlanta.

The actor confirmed this will be the last movie in the series and suggested the story will honor the memory of Robin Williams and the first film from 1995.

Full Cast Returns

A new photo features the cast of Jumanji – Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black – dressed as their characters: Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Mouse Finbar, Ruby Roundhouse, and Professor Shelly Oberon. They’re pictured together on a city street.

I was so thrilled to see Karen Gillan post about the team getting back together – she joked we were ‘so back!’ And honestly, the internet exploded with excitement! Everyone is celebrating the whole team reuniting, and it’s amazing to see.

Release Date and Details

Jake Kasdan directed Jumanji 3, and he co-wrote the screenplay with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Sony Pictures plans to release the movie on December 11, 2026.

This new film continues the story from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), which have earned almost $2 billion globally. Dwayne Johnson has called the movie a big, enjoyable, and emotional adventure, and says it will be a satisfying conclusion to the Jumanji series.
