Henry Cavill has revealed the first images from the upcoming reboot of Highlander. The two photos are dark and dramatic, giving fans a glimpse of the long-awaited sword-fighting adventure.
Henry Cavill shared the first official look at his character in Highlander on Instagram, expressing his excitement about the project. He hinted at a long road to get here and promised to share more details later, hoping fans will enjoy the reveal.
The photos show Henry Cavill as the immortal warrior, dressed in a dark trench coat and holding a sword. One picture was taken in a temple lit by red lanterns, and the other in the crumbling remains of a cathedral.
This new version of the classic story updates the tale of immortals who have been fighting each other for centuries, now with a modern twist.

Production Resumes After Injury Delay
Filming for Highlander was put on hold late last year when Henry Cavill was injured while preparing for the physically challenging role.
Filming has resumed, and the initial photos show a dark, visually striking style for this fantasy-action project.
Henry Cavill has been set to lead the film for a while, and Chad Stahelski, known for directing the John Wick movies, will be directing with his trademark action-packed approach.

All-Star Cast Joins Cavill
Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Dave Bautista, Marisa Abela, and Max Zhang also appear in the film.
So, Michael Finch did the final work on the screenplay, but it wasn’t a solo effort. Ryan J. Condal and Kerry Williamson had a hand in earlier versions, laying some of the groundwork before Finch came on board. It’s always interesting to see how a script evolves with different writers, you know?
