As a die-hard fan of Fire Force since its inception, I cannot contain my excitement as Crunchyroll announced that the highly anticipated finale will be split into two cours, with the first part set to release in April 2025 and the second part following in January 2026. This news comes alongside a thrilling teaser that leaves us eagerly speculating about the mysterious moon and Shira’s ominous stance amidst a fiery cityscape.
During Anime Expo 2024, Crunchyroll revealed that the last arc of Fire Force will be divided into two parts, airing in 2025 and 2026 respectively. Simultaneously, they unveiled a sneak peek for the upcoming final season. This popular anime is adapted from the Japanese manga authored and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo.
Starting from September 2015, this manga was published weekly in Kodansha’s shōnen manga publication, Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The serialization continued until February 2022, resulting in a total of 34 tankōbon volumes. As of May 2022, more than 20 million copies of this series have been sold, making it highly acclaimed and widely read recently. Unfortunately, no concrete information is available regarding the upcoming finale of the manga series.
Fire Force Season 3 Release Date
As a long-time fan of Fire Force, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with fellow enthusiasts! Based on my experience following this captivating anime series, I have learned that the first half of Season 3 is set for release in April 2025. And here’s the cherry on top – the final part of this thrilling journey will be unveiled to us in January 2026!
The trailer for the upcoming series gives us a look back at Arthur and Shinra, with particular focus on an enigmatic moon appearing in the background. Some fans have suggested that this lunar image might be reminiscent of the one featured in Soul Eater. In the scene shown, Shira is depicted amidst a blazing urban landscape. At present, no concrete information regarding the series finale’s storyline has been disclosed. Crunchyroll holds the rights to the show and plans to broadcast it worldwide.
Fire Force Season 2 Recap
In the second season, Shinra and Arthur undergo rigorous training from Benimaru. Consequently, they develop their pyrokinetic powers, as evidenced by their blue flames. The captains Hibana and Huang clash with Lieutenant Konro during this period. A poignant moment occurs when Captain Hague passes away, an event that Shinra experiences through the Adolla link.
