To embark on this journey, first, teleport to Leyawiin and navigate towards the Mage’s Guild. Upon arrival, you can join the guild by conversing with Dagail. For this particular mission, however, delve into the guild’s rooms until you encounter a Khajiit named S’drassa. He’ll express his search for rare crystals called Garridan’s Tears and seek your assistance in finding them, thereby initiating the quest. Speak with him again, and he’ll guide you to Julian Fanish at the Arcane University within the Imperial City, who may possess more details about these crystals.
Travel swiftly to the Arcane University and converse with Julian about the Tears. He’ll provide a wealth of information regarding them. He suggests venturing to the First Edition bookstore in the Market District to find a book called Knightfall. Upon buying and perusing it, you’ll discover details about Refined Frost Salts, which Julian also happens to sell. Acquire all of them before proceeding to Bruma. From there, ride your horse southeast until you reach Frostfire Glade. Once inside, battle any adversaries you come across as you progress towards the inner entrance.
Do keep in mind that this door will only open if you have the Refined Frost Salts on you.
Where to Find Garridan’s Tears in Oblivion Remastered
Within Frostfire Glade, you’ll run into a Frostfire Atronach Glade Guardian that is vulnerable to fire attacks but immune to frost. Should you possess any fire-powered Magicka spells, it would be wise to maintain some distance from the guardian and persistently diminish its health by casting these spells.
