Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Yuffie Weapon Tier List

As a seasoned Final Fantasy veteran with countless hours spent honing my strategies and perfecting my playstyle, I find myself drawn to Yuffie’s arsenal of weapons like a moth to a flame. Each weapon offers unique benefits that can significantly impact the gameplay, especially when synergizing with other party members or specific situations.

In February 2024, let’s take another look at Yuffie’s arsenal. We’ll organize her weapons based on how well they perform in completing tasks, optimality for specific gameplay styles, and their potential utility as secondary weapons.

S Tier

Spiral Shuriken

In other words, the Spiral Shuriken is an ideal weapon for Yuffie, particularly against foes susceptible to frost. It has a high damage amplifier and offers significant enhancements in Physical Attack (PATK) and Ice Damage, making it a powerful tool for attacking enemies vulnerable to icy attacks.

Arctic Star

Among all her weapons, The Arctic Star could be Yuffie’s most effective option, fitting perfectly with her role as a physical attacker. It not only amplifies her ability to deal damage by boosting Physical Attack Power (PATK), but also extends the duration of her buff, solidifying her status as an outstanding physical attack buffer. The unique blend of offensive and supportive features makes the Arctic Star an excellent choice for optimizing Yuffie’s performance in battles.

A Tier

Wind Slash

As a devoted fan, I’ve found that the Wind Slash becomes an indispensable tool when I support my lightning damage-dealing comrades like Cloud. Its R Abilities offer remarkable benefits, with the second one truly standing out due to its power to prolong debuff durations. This strategic choice significantly boosts my supportive role within a team centered around lightning damage, making every strike count for more!

Crystal Cross

The Crystal Cross is exceptional at enhancing the Magic Attack of a single companion, which makes it an indispensable tool for characters who deal magic damage. However, given that Yuffie primarily specializes in physical attacks, this Magic Attack boost might not be ideally utilized on her. Regardless, if you don’t have another Magic Attack enhancer in your team, the Crystal Cross can still perform its role effectively for Yuffie.

Pinwheel

The Pinwheel, similar to Wind Slash, weakens an enemy’s resistance to ice elements. It works particularly well with Yuffie’s Spiral Shuriken, which inflicts ice damage. Although the enhancements on this weapon aren’t purely offensive, the combined benefits of HP increase and ice damage amplification make it a versatile option, offering both enhanced survivability and higher damage potential.

Boomerang

The Boomerang serves as an additional weapon for Yuffie that focuses on reducing an enemy’s fire resistance. It works exceptionally well when used alongside a character like Cloud who deals primary fire damage. In this tactical arrangement, Yuffie functions both as support and sub-DPS, thereby boosting the overall harmony within the team.

4-Point Shuriken

The 4-Point Shuriken is ranked among the top tier weapons, largely because of its area-of-effect offensive debuffs that specifically target an enemy’s Physical Attack Power. This feature is especially useful in scenarios involving enemies with high damage output. Moreover, its R abilities increase both HP and debuff duration, making it more attractive and increasing its utility, thereby being a valuable asset to Yuffie’s collection of weapons.

B Tier

Magic Shuriken

As an avid fan, I’ve come to appreciate the enchantment of this shuriken, despite its relatively low base damage. What sets it apart is its ability to strike every adversary simultaneously. While its Attack (ATK) stat might not be as formidable compared to Physical Attack (PATK) or Magic Attack (MATK), it certainly has its merits. The wind potency bonus this shuriken offers could potentially be a game-changer, provided one can masterfully overboost it significantly.

Twin Viper

The Twin Viper, despite dealing less damage and not having an elemental property, is classified in a lower category of weapons. Although non-elemental weapons can be useful in certain situations, their lack of an elemental boost makes them generally less powerful. Furthermore, the weapon inflicts poison, but it’s important to mention that most bosses are resistant or immune to such status effects.

Razor Ring

The Razor Ring and Magic Shuriken both have a common trait: they deal less individual damage but shine in area-of-effect (AoE) destruction. At level 90, the MATK amplification isn’t particularly high. But don’t underestimate it! If you overboost its Earth potency, it could offer a tactical advantage by increasing its overall efficiency.
