It’s inappropriate for a major film studio to exploit my fear for marketing purposes, but here we are. “Final Destination 2” left an indelible mark on me, scarier than any other movie I’ve ever seen. This horror flick gave birth to a lifelong phobia of logging trucks – yes, you read that right! If you’re familiar with the film, chances are, you share my fear too. How could anyone not, given its chilling portrayal? Truly, logging trucks, thanks to “Final Destination 2”, are the most dreadful monsters ever projected on a big screen. I can’t stand being anywhere near a highway because of it. In fact, just the sight of any vehicle resembling one makes me shudder. After all, I know the consequences… and I lived them.
Clearly, Warner Bros. Pictures understands the influence of the infamous horror movie vehicle. As such, they’re marketing the film “Final Destination Bloodlines” by dispatching a truck splattered with blood across the U.S.
……No.
I strongly disapprove of this. I find it neither witty nor entertaining. You might have a different perspective, viewing this as a shrewd marketing tactic, perhaps to generate excitement for the new sequel by recalling the most popular part of the film franchise and hint at how Bloodlines will connect all the installments in the series. However, I see it differently.
If you find those things disagreeable, it could be that you’d prefer a different place, as encountering such a gas-guzzling nuisance might lead me to consider giving up my driving privileges forever.
Picture yourself right beside it, but you don’t need to as there are others who are unfortunately in that position. And let me tell you, it’s both terrible and remarkably good for them.

As I mentioned earlier, my pain shouldn’t be exploited, no matter how ingenious the promotion might be. The chilling impact of Final Destination 2 will linger with me forever. It’s simply another cruel jest from Death that they want to leverage that against me in Final Destination Bloodlines. It’s a trick Death plays, and it seems even the clever minds at Warner Bros.’ marketing department are in on it too.
