Skill Rundown
Bone Hammer
As a seasoned adventurer who’s faced countless beasts and fiends alike, I can confidently say that this Fiend is no exception. The key to defeating it lies not only in understanding its abilities but also in mastering the dance of combat.
In this scenario, I’ll need to take one of my units off the field with an upcoming attack. Essentially, I’m willing to lose a unit to protect S2. So, let’s position a unit as a shield, ready to absorb the impact and buy some time for the rest of my team.
Scattering Skeleton
Allow the silenced unit to get sacrificed, which will trigger C1. Tip: Put the sacrificed unit on the front right corner, to avoid a tomb on the center.
Corpse Poison Spray
Trigger: There are 4 surviving members on your team.
If you give up an ally who is silent and hidden, it will activate this ability. Position three units so they absorb the impact, placing a tank unit at the forefront. The remaining two units will gain immunity against S3’s destructive effect.
If you’re using Michaela, you’ll be putting everyone on the left lane instead.
Wave of Apocalypse
Position those units that didn’t receive a boost from Skill 1 at the rear, keeping them safe from this skill’s impact. Once that’s done, let’s deal some serious damage to the fiend!
Banquet of Corruption
The current team steps aside, allowing another group to proceed. Meanwhile, the Fiend returns to starting point 1 (S1) and resets its conditional abilities.
Hunting the Fiend
S1 → S2 → C1 → S3 → S4
Align the Fiend’s enhancements by activating C1 following S2. This can be achieved by having a unit first become silent with S1, and then offering it as a sacrifice to S2.
Following S3, the Fiend exhausts all its enhancements, transforming it into a nuclear round. Ensure your buffs from allies are maximized for this round.
DPS Review
Michaela (with an 8-tile Area of Effect) – She excels as the top choice for light magic during this fiend hunt, although it should be noted that Angelica doesn’t set a particularly high standard. Moreover, Michaela maintains consistent damage output throughout the entire encounter.
Angelica (Affecting 5 areas) – While Angelica could potentially be useful, it’s unlikely she’ll meet the level 10 requirement on her own.
Holy Justicia (AoE 11) – Ideal light physical attack for this fiend hunt given she can scale her damage across five targets, making her effective without relying on Zenith to hit critical spots. Notably, she maintains continuous damage output with no downtime.
Ventana (×7 AoE with Zenith) — Decent DPS for this Hunt, so long as you use Zenith.
Yuri (×6 AoE) — Also a decent DPS, since she can use both her skills on the center.
