As a die-hard Marvel fan, I’m thrilled to share that Marvel Studios has unveiled the complete trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” This sneak peek offers a tantalizing glimpse of the female version of the Silver Surfer, brilliantly brought to life by Julia Garner.
In the world of comic books, the Silver Surfer is actually a character named Norrin Radd, initially introduced in 1966 by Jack Kirby.
Alternatively, similar to how Kevin Feige reshaped the Marvel Cinematic Universe post-“Captain Marvel,” he’s discarded numerous tales by renowned authors, seemingly prioritizing an agenda over legacy.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my concerns about some recent projects from Feige. For instance, the experiment with a new Captain America in “Captain America: Brave New World” didn’t quite hit the mark for me, and the box office numbers seemed to reflect that sentiment. Similarly, “The Marvels,” which holds the title as the MCU’s lowest-grossing film to date, left many of us craving more. With “Thunderbolts” on the horizon, I find myself bracing for what some are predicting could be another setback.
Much like the novel “Brave New World,” “The Marvels” presents two characters who initially receive little attention, such as Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel (formerly known as Ms. Marvel), and Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel.
The CGI for the female Silver Surfer in the series looks awful, similar to She-Hulk. It seems like Feige’s work on She-Hulk and most Marvel shows on Disney+ isn’t up to par.
Things are so bad that Disney CEO Bob Iger has slashed the Marvel budgets and is reducing content.
The CGI for the female Silver Surfer also looks a lot worse than what Fox did 20 years ago!
In 2007, the movie “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” hit the screens, and in this production, the character Silver Surfer, acted by Doug Jones and voiced by Laurence Fishburne, appears significantly enhanced (as you can see below).
I believe the visual effects on Chris Evans’ Human Torch are more impressive than those on Joseph Quinn’s character, who appears rather pasty in comparison.
I recently discovered that Feige is working on updating the Fantastic Four for a contemporary Marvel Cinematic Universe viewer.
Among the alterations is enhancing Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm to surpass all other characters. Pedro Pascal portrays Reed Richards as a bumbling romantic, and Johnny Storm undergoes a process that diminishes his masculinity. The Thing experiences a change in which his voice becomes even higher pitched.
I wonder how things are going for the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans who can’t accept the real world: How have you been coping? In reality, the MCU is not what it used to be. The hashtag #MCURestInPeace persists…
