Star Trek fans are in for a treat! Lego has just released a new set modeled after the famous U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation, after almost 60 years of waiting.
This impressive set contains 3,600 pieces and builds into a large model measuring over 10 inches high, 23.5 inches long, and 18.5 inches wide. It’s a carefully crafted recreation of the ship that brought the franchise back to life in 1987 and has been beloved by fans ever since.
The LEGO Group has officially unveiled its LEGO Star Trek: The Next Generation USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D set! This impressive build features 3,600 pieces and includes nine minifigures: Captain Picard, Riker, Worf, Data, Dr. Beverly Crusher, Geordi La Forge, Troi, Guinan, and Wesley Crusher.

The latest Lego sets are the result of a partnership with Paramount, the company behind Star Trek. Previously, you could only find Star Trek building sets from brands like Mega Bloks.
While other building sets are decent, they often lack the refined quality and intricate details of Lego. The new Lego Icons Enterprise is specifically crafted to accurately represent the ship’s form and features. It includes a removable command saucer, brightly colored engines, a main body, and an opening shuttle bay with two small shuttlecraft inside.
The collection will also include small figures of the main characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation, such as Captain Picard, Commander Riker, Worf, Data, Dr. Crusher, Geordi La Forge, Deanna Troi, Guinan, and Wesley Crusher.
Each figure comes with their own accessories like phasers, tricorders, and an engineering case.
This set is designed for adults and includes a display stand. It launches on November 28th and will cost $399.99 in the US, £349.99 in the UK, and €379.99 in Europe.
Lego is creating a special Black Friday video with Jonathan Frakes, a well-known director who has worked on Star Trek. He even signed one of the Lego sets, and one fan will have the chance to win it!
Lego is giving a special gift to those who quickly purchase the Enterprise set. If you order between November 28th and December 1st, you’ll receive a free Lego Icons Star Trek Shuttlepod. This smaller build, with 261 pieces, features an opening cockpit and includes a miniature figure of Ensign Ro Laren, a character from both The Next Generation and season three of Picard.
