Jennifer Grey, known for her role in the popular 1987 film Dirty Dancing, recently surprised people with her appearance at a party in Beverly Hills. The 65-year-old actress was there to celebrate filmmaker Cindy Eckert at an event hosted by Kathy Hilton.
Daya Grey stunned fans with a fresh, glamorous appearance, showing off a new brunette hairstyle and chic winter outfit. She paired a chocolate brown blouse with a dark skirt and belt, accessorizing with a patterned scarf and a leather jacket, and completed the look with stylish brown glasses.
She still possessed the same radiant beauty she displayed in Dirty Dancing over thirty years ago, though her hair now features a darker color, greater length, and a relaxed, wavy style.
Many people remember her as “Baby” from the beloved movie, with her signature blonde curls. Recently, she’s surprised fans with a dramatic change in appearance, including a striking look she showcased at a London red carpet event last year.
Jennifer Grey first gained recognition in the film Reckless, but she became a household name with Dirty Dancing. Throughout her career, she’s been linked romantically to several well-known figures, including actors Michael J. Fox, Johnny Depp, and William Baldwin, as well as political advisor George Stephanopoulos.
Jennifer Grey married actor and director Clark Gregg in 2001, and they had a daughter. They acted together in the 2006 Lifetime movie The Road to Christmas, but they separated in 2020 and officially divorced in February 2021.
In a 2015 interview with the Jewish Journal, Grey shared that she’s become more connected to her Jewish faith recently. She explained that preparing for her daughter’s bat mitzvah made her realize how much being Jewish means to her, saying, “I love being a Jew… I’ve gotten a lot more Jewish in the last five years.”
Grey has dealt with significant health issues. Before competing on Dancing with the Stars in 2010, she had a medical check-up to make sure she was fit enough to participate.
Following a car accident and subsequent spinal surgery, she experienced ongoing neck pain. During the surgery, doctors also found and successfully removed a cancerous nodule on her thyroid. She was able to return to work later in the year.
