A TikTok user named @1minutecritic recently pointed out three mistakes in the popular holiday movie. One of these happens in a short scene with a child and a van driver. When the driver says “hit the road,” the close-up shot of the child’s face shows them clearly lip-syncing the line instead of saying it themselves.
There’s another continuity error in the famous sledding scene from “Home Alone.” When the camera looks down the stairs, they don’t actually line up with the front door, but Kevin still somehow ends up outside. Sharp-eyed fans have also spotted the wheels of the sled visible while he’s in the air, which ruins the effect.
Viewers also noticed some mistakes with how things looked on screen. For example, Kevin’s pants kept changing color – they were dark at first, then blue jeans when he got home, and then dark again while he was setting up another trap.
