After being available on Netflix for over ten years, the popular series Supernatural will soon be removed from the platform in the U.S. Since 2014, it’s been one of the most-watched shows on Netflix, but that run is about to end.
Supernatural, a show about brothers Sam and Dean Winchester who hunt monsters, aired for 15 seasons from 2005 to 2020. Originally on The WB, it later moved to The CW. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles starred as the Winchester brothers, traveling across America and battling demons, ghosts, and other supernatural threats. The series, produced by Warner Bros. Television, concluded in 2020.
As a big fan of the show, I was really bummed to hear that all 15 seasons of Supernatural are leaving Netflix! They’ve confirmed it’s happening in December 2025. You’ll have until December 17th to get your fix, because everything disappears just after midnight on the 18th. Apparently, it’s not just Supernatural – other CW shows like Arrow and The 100 are also getting pulled due to licensing agreements.
Don’t worry, fans! Supernatural won’t be leaving streaming completely. It’s coming to Peacock on December 22, 2025, with all seasons available. Peacock hasn’t announced yet if you’ll need a paid subscription or if it will also be available with ads.
