Fan Built a 75,000 Piece LEGO STARDEW VALLEY Map

As a fellow admirer of both Stardew Valley and Lego creations, I must say that Steve Jenson’s 75,000-piece LEGO recreation of Stardew Valley is nothing short of breathtaking! The level of detail and creativity that went into this masterpiece is truly awe-inspiring.

The entirety of Pelican Town in LEGO bricks?! This wild idea is a reality thanks to Steve Jenson, a fan of the 2D farming simulation game, Stardew Valley. The 75,000-piece LEGO recreation debut at BrickCon 2024 in Bellevue, Washington. The sole developer and creator of Stardew Valley, Eric Barone, known professionally as “ConcernedApe,” also took notice of the large model. Barone praised Jenson in person, as seen in an Instagram photo posted by Jenson.

In their LEGO creation, Jenson recreated popular spots from Stardew Valley such as JojaMart and the Wizard’s Tower. To give it a unified feel, he crafted a sign resembling the game’s title card. This project required more than two years of work, and during that time, some creative adjustments were needed to scale it down effectively. Jenson envisioned what the hidden sides and backs of buildings depicted in the game actually looked like. Furthermore, he combined various sections of Pelican Town’s map to produce a unified build. The video below provides a detailed look at all the intricate aspects of this remarkable model.

Jenson shared with PC Gamer that his favorite part was “the Hat Shop, as I managed to make it mostly hollow, allowing glimpses through the gaps and damaged areas to see beyond to additional openings on the other side. It’s like peering into a dilapidated, abandoned building.

The design of Jenson’s LEGO model for Stardew Valley, based on the Nintendo Switch version, is heavily inspired by its colors and aesthetics. By merging various stages of game progress and seasons, Jenson effectively depicted the different elements within each phase. At BrickCon, his hard work was recognized as he won the People’s Choice award for his outstanding LEGO build.
