Plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow recently discussed why Brad Pitt still looks so young at age 62. He shared his observations on the March 9th episode of the “misSpelling” podcast, hosted by Tori Spelling.
Dr. Dubrow, 67, believes Brad Pitt has aged remarkably well. He admitted he’s not sure what Pitt has done, but noted that Pitt appears to have avoided the visible effects of aging, and doesn’t look like he’s had extensive plastic surgery. Dr. Dubrow acknowledged that Pitt has likely had a facelift, but still looks fantastic.
Dr. Dubrow, from The Botched show, believes Brad Pitt’s healthier lifestyle, particularly getting sober, has contributed to his youthful appearance and improved skin.
Dr. Dubrow suggests Brad Pitt manages to look good at 60 without wrinkles because of something specific to his face. He wonders why a man of the same age with similar wrinkle-free skin might look unnatural, asking, “Why does Brad Pitt at 60, with no wrinkles and no laxity in his face, look okay, whereas another male at 60 or 65 with no wrinkles and no laxity looks weird?”
According to the surgeon, Brad Pitt’s attractiveness stems from his facial features, which align with traditionally feminine beauty standards. He explained that Pitt was even more visually striking than the female actors in Legends of the Fall, appearing exceptionally beautiful in the film.
Dr. Dubrow notes that men with naturally softer facial features can have plastic surgery later in life – even in their 50s, 60s, or 70s – and still achieve a natural-looking result. He explained that having a more feminine face helps the surgery blend in naturally as men age, avoiding an unnatural appearance.
Rumors started circulating in July 2023, after Brad Pitt attended Wimbledon, that he may have had cosmetic work done. People who saw him at the tennis tournament commented that he appeared noticeably younger and more refreshed.
Dr. Dubrow also pointed out that Brad Pitt, like Rob Lowe and John Stamos, shows how plastic surgery can enhance someone’s looks, especially when they already have naturally softer features.
The surgeon believes Brad Pitt’s consistently youthful look is likely due to a blend of good genes, healthy habits, and potentially some minor cosmetic procedures, though these haven’t been publicly acknowledged.
