Christopher Lloyd recently delighted fans as the actor shared a photo of his memorable reunion with the former cast members of his 1991 film The Addams Family on X (Twitter). The snapshot featured Anjelica Huston, who portrayed Morticia Addams, Christina Ricci (Wednesday Addams), Jimmy Workman (Pugsley Addams), and Carel Struycken (Lurch). They reunited at Los Angeles Comic Con, where the actors reflected on their fond memories of filming this iconic movie. 

Next to the post, the actor penned a heartfelt message reading, “A haunted family sticks together.” This emotional reunion evoked memories of the peculiar family that has been enchanting audiences for decades with their outstanding acting. Moreover, this Comic-Con meet-up is the first time they’ve reunited for a fan event since parting ways.

People magazine reports that during the panel discussion, the actors paid tribute to their deceased co-star Raul Julia, famously known for portraying Gomez Addams in the film. Julia tragically passed away in 1994 at the age of 54. According to the publication, Anjelica Huston recalled that Julia was an exceptional gentleman who was always punctual, arriving first on set and leaving last.

She commended his friendly nature, mentioning that he was always ready to oblige and showcasing his ability to dance. Huston observed that he frequently amused the cast by singing opera during breaks between scenes. Christopher Lloyd further pointed out that Juliá had a generously sized heart, acknowledging him as a kind and affectionate individual.

In the relaxed chat, the performers reminisced about their ties to their famous roles, as Christopher Lloyd shared his recollections of Jackie Coogan from the 1964 TV series where he portrayed Uncle Fester. The actor pointed out that Coogan was quite a trickster. There was an air of mischief around him, but it wasn’t truly wicked. Instead, it seemed amusing to Lloyd.

The movie narrates the story of the Addams family receiving an unexpected guest, who introduces himself as Uncle Fester, after a 25-year absence. While Gomez (played by Raúl Juliá) enthusiastically accepts him, Morticia (Anjelica Huston) becomes wary as Fester has trouble recalling details about his past. With the assistance of lawyer Tully Alford (Dan Hedaya), Fester devises a scheme to oust the family from their home. In the end, Gomez discovers that Fester’s intentions are not genuine and aims to seize their wealth. This forces Gomez to confront the supposed brother who has returned to their lives.
