As a devoted fan who has followed Kim Porter’s journey and her relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for years, I am deeply concerned about the recent claims that a memoir purportedly authored by Kim is a fake. Having had the privilege to witness their love story unfold on the public stage, it is heart-wrenching to see such a question mark cast over a narrative that should have been left untouched.
A memoir titled “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey For Justice, From the Other Side…” that was supposedly written by Kim Porter, the late ex-girlfriend of rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, is being labeled as fake by Diddy’s lawyer. According to People magazine, someone within Porter’s family is investigating potential legal actions in response to this alleged fabrication.
I was absolutely thrilled when the book dropped on Amazon on September 6th, skyrocketing straight to the top of their Literature & Fiction list! However, as an ardent fan, I found myself disheartened upon learning about the questionable content within its pages. As reported by a certain outlet, this book appears to contain inaccuracies, typos, and salacious claims – alleging graphic sexual encounters with Diddy and other renowned celebrities, as well as physical abuse from the Bad Boy Records founder against Porter.
Diddy’s legal representative made a statement to the media outlet, labeling the memoir as a “fraudulent,” “distasteful,” and “shameless” effort to capitalize on a tragedy. She further stated, “Chris Todd lacks respect for Ms. Porter and her family, who deserve more than this.” Additionally, she emphasized that it is an established truth that Ms. Porter passed away due to natural causes. May she find peace in rest.
The memoir said it was penned down by Jamal T. Millwood ”for “Kimberly A. Porter.” The book is self-published by Chris Todd (real name Todd Guzze) under the name of Millwood.
A source close to the bereaved family confided to the media that they are considering various avenues for potential lawsuits, targeting both the publishers and individuals implicated in the same matter.
Besides him, his close friend Eboni Elektra joined in, criticizing the memoir prior to its publication. She asserted that the deceased person didn’t pen the autobiography and added emphatically that she wouldn’t have done something like that.
As a lifestyle authority, I’d like to clarify a point brought up in People magazine regarding the authenticity of my book. Let me put it this way: Would I, Chris Todd, jeopardize my reputation and personal well-being by promoting something untrue? Of course not! Furthermore, I’m proud to share that my book currently holds the number one spot on Amazon’s rankings, a testament to its value and credibility.
