After Zack Snyder shared several posts about Batman on Instagram, the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix has also joined the discussion about his DC Universe plans – often called the ‘SnyderVerse’.
Ben Affleck attended the Las Vegas Grand Prix, and the official Formula 1 Las Vegas Instagram account quickly capitalized on his role as Batman. They shared a photo of Affleck with the caption, “When Batman shows up to the #LasVegasGP… you know it’s serious.”

Affleck’s Appearance Adds Fuel to Batman Speculation
The announcement is particularly interesting because it followed Zack Snyder’s release of his own artwork inspired by the DC Extended Universe, which featured a fresh image of Ben Affleck as Batman.
The official F1 account is further increasing excitement and speculation about Ben Affleck potentially reprising his role as Batman if the SnyderVerse is revived.

Fans Think Affleck Looks Jacked
People have also noticed that Affleck appears to be in better shape, and this has fueled even more discussion.
After Snyder shared some glimpses of Batman and Affleck showed up looking much more muscular at a recent event, fans online are already speculating about a connection.

The Saudi connection
With the recent sale of Warner Bros. Discovery, there’s talk that the original vision for the DC Universe – often called the SnyderVerse – might be revisited, and Ben Affleck could potentially return to his role as Batman.
Sources close to the situation say Saudi Arabia is investing in bringing Zack Snyder’s DC universe back, with the goal of creating a major cinematic event to compete with Marvel.
Saudi Arabia has significant involvement in Formula 1 racing. They host a Grand Prix, and the state-owned oil company, Aramco, sponsors the Aston Martin team. Additionally, the country’s Public Investment Fund owns part of the McLaren racing team.
Artists Equity, the film studio founded by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, is creating a documentary about Adrian Newey, a legendary figure in Formula One racing. The documentary, titled “Turbulence: The Greatest Mind in Formula One,” will explore his career and impact. Aston Martin recently shared a related image on Instagram.
