EXCLUSIVE: Harrison Ford Reveals Who He Considers ‘Real Heroes’ Apart From Hulk And Captain America; Says ‘Don’t Pick…’

In an exclusive conversation with TopMob, Harrison Ford spoke candidly about the destruction caused by the L.A. wildfires, praising firefighters and first responders as genuine heroes he’s encountered in real life. During our chat, he discussed his upcoming film, Captain America: Brave New World.

Instead of picking a character from the DC or Marvel comics, Ford opted for the real-life heroes – the selfless social workers who devote their lives to improving society.

Or:

Ford chose not to mention any superhero from the DC or Marvel worlds when asked about his favorite. Instead, he praised the unsung heroes – social workers who work tirelessly for society’s betterment.

He stated that he doesn’t choose his heroes from films, explaining that genuine heroes can be found in reality, not just on the silver screen. “They’re the ones battling fires in Los Angeles,” he further explained. Ford went on to express admiration for those working in public service jobs and the first responders who have been tirelessly working during these challenging times.

In the upcoming Captain America film, actor Ford refers to the complex nature of his character, President Thaddeus Ross.

In popular Marvel comics, a well-known villain aspires to harness the abilities of superheroes for military dominance, further strengthening his unstoppable might. Yet, Ford perceives Ross not solely as evil, but possessing a mix of good and bad traits – a “grey area.

The film centers on “Sam Wilson, now taking up the role of Captain America, who unexpectedly gets caught up in a worldwide crisis and needs to uncover the reason for a sinister global scheme,” according to the official summary.

Captain America: Brave New World will have its world premiere in theaters on February 14.
