The Legend of Vox Machina: The Whitestone Chronicles Volume 2—Cassandra‘s Synopsis

Dark Horse Comics has shared details about the story in The Legend of Vox Machina: The Whitestone Chronicles Volume 2—Cassandra.

After her family was murdered, Cassandra de Rolo was left severely injured and seemingly alone when her brother disappeared. Now a prisoner in Whitestone, she’s surprised to find herself being cared for with unexpected kindness by Delilah and Sylas Briarwood, who treat her almost like a daughter as she recovers in her old bedroom. Though grateful for their care, Cassandra remains wary of their intentions as she struggles to cope with the loss of her family and the shock of being abandoned by Percy.

The Briarwoods publicly showcase Cassandra throughout the city, hoping to appear kind and generous to the struggling citizens. However, instead of becoming a symbol of their control, Cassandra unintentionally inspires the rebellion trying to free Whitestone, especially for her childhood friend and the rebel leader, Archie. Determined to save her home, Cassandra promises to help in any way she can, but she must battle both the trauma of her past and the Briarwoods’ manipulation to reclaim her free will.
