As a follower who admires Meghan Trainor‘s journey and her unwavering dedication to self-love, I find her story incredibly inspiring. Her experiences with body image issues, insecurities, and her openness about cosmetic procedures resonate deeply with me.
Meghan Trainor has always been open about her past struggles with self-image and cosmetic procedures. Back in 2014, she released her hit song “All About That Bass,” which champions body positivity. Reflecting on that period, she admitted to People magazine, “I was already dealing with some tough feelings about my body, especially given that I’m constantly under the scrutiny of others.
She confessed that numerous individuals would make critical comments about her physique when she initially entered the music world. “Consequently, I’ve had an unusual connection with my body for quite some time, particularly since I spent my childhood as a heavier individual,” she further explained.
2020 marked a change in the fashion style of the singer known for “Made You Look.” She started opting for loose-fitting outfits to conceal her shape. In an interview with The Guardian that year, she openly discussed her self-doubts. “I struggled with my body image, and I wasn’t sure how to style myself,” she admitted then. “I’m still figuring out what flatters me best – it can be risky business with high-end clothing,” Trainor mentioned further.
2022 marked a life-changing chapter for me when I welcomed my little miracle, Riley, with the love of my life, Daryl Sabara. Post-motherhood, I made a commitment to myself and embarked on a transformative journey towards a healthier lifestyle. Through dedication and hard work, I managed to shed an incredible 60 pounds!
She mentioned on the Workin’ on It podcast that she doesn’t feel as though she require Botox treatments as frequently as others suggest. Her own results have been long-lasting, which she finds beneficial. She also believes that the same will hold true for you. Additionally, Trainor disclosed that Botox has assisted her in managing perioral dermatitis, a skin condition resembling acne on her face.
In 2024, the artist known as No hitmaker disclosed her intentions to undergo breast augmentation surgery to correct sagging breasts following the birth of her sons, Riley and Barry. “They’ve grown, they’ve shrunk, they’ve grown, they’ve shrunk,” she expressed during an episode of the Workin’ on It podcast. “The challenge is finding stylish outfits for my upcoming tours and shows, as I have to wear supportive bras, which can sometimes spoil the look,” she confessed at that time, being a mother of two.
