Every MCU Character Who Appears in DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE

As a long-time fan of Marvel Comics and the MCU, I was absolutely thrilled to see the unexpected twists and cameos in “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Having grown up reading the classic battles between Hulk and Wolverine, I was disappointed not to witness their epic showdown in the movie. But when Deadpool mentioned a future encounter with Thor holding a dying Deadpool, my heart skipped a beat! I couldn’t help but wonder if this was a hint at a potential team-up or simply a fun gag.

Deadpool & Wolverine delivered a fond farewell to Fox’s era of X-Men and Marvel movies, but it needed some help from MCU stars to say goodbye. Who helped Wade and Logan make the big screen move over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here is every MCU character who appeared in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Happy Hogan (and a Picture of Tony Stark)

In 2018, Wade Wilson from Earth-10005 departed his universe and joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU, pre-Snap) prime reality, Earth-616. He sought employment with the Avengers but missed an opportunity to meet the alive Tony Stark. Instead, Wade interviewed Happy Hogan, portrayed by Jon Favreau, who worked as security for the team. Happy believed Wade wasn’t quite prepared for the job yet, leading Wade into a depression that contributed to his split from Vanessa. Pondering if Deadpool had landed the position, we’re left questioning whether he could have thwarted Thanos’ acquisition of all Infinity Stones and prevented the subsequent demise of half the universe.

Significantly, the tableau featured a striking depiction of Tony Stark alongside Peter Parker. However, Tom Holland’s likeness was concealed in this representation. Contrary to what might have been assumed, it was Disney who acquired 20th Century Studios rather than Sony.

Footage of the Six Original MCU Avengers

During his time at the TVA, Deadpool had the opportunity to watch all the original Avengers on screens. The clips showed them in action during the Battle of New York and notable scenes from their individual movies. These heroic moments significantly influenced Paradox’s persuasive speech to Deadpool, as part of his intricate scheme.

As a devoted fan, I must confess that the single clip of Wade’s future that Paradox showed us, which we were not supposed to witness, left us all utterly captivated.

Thor

In an unexpected turn of events, I’ll find myself in the presence of a deeply emotional Thor, portrayed by Chris Hemsworth, as Deadpool lies weakly in my grasp. This scene could only take place in the whimsical world of Asgard.

As someone who has been a devoted fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for years, I can’t help but get excited whenever there’s a hint of potential team-ups between my favorite characters. And Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, is no exception. In the recent movie, he made a casual reference to Thor, leaving many of us fans wondering if this could be a sign of things to come.

Hulk

In his quest across the multiverse to find a new Wolverine, Deadpool stumbled upon an intriguing candidate: one involved in the legendary clash between Wolverine and the Hulk – a battle iconic in comic book lore. Sadly for Deadpool and the rest of us, we missed out on witnessing this spectacular showdown. The bare-chested, enraged Hulk, locked in combat with the “John Byrne version” of Wolverine, took a moment to hurl Deadpool back through the doorway of the TVA (Time Variance Authority).

Hulk not smash. Hulk evict.

Hunter B-15

Paraphrasing: Paradox and his team needed to keep their work on the Time Ripper machine hidden because the new boss at the TVA has a distinctly different management style than before. In the wake of “Loki” season two, Hunter B-15 now holds the reins at the Time Variance Authority, and they no longer approve of the elimination of branches, even those destined for natural termination.

Wunmi Mosaku made her first appearance in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film with “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Prior to this, her character, Hunter B-15, was exclusively featured on Disney+’s programming.

Alioth

In the movie, Alioth, a formidable monster and first appearance on the big screen from the world of Loki, made a memorable impression. This monstrous storm beast continues to consume Variants in the realm beyond time and space. Surprisingly, Deadpool and Wolverine were able to communicate with Alioth, securing its leave from harassing Cassandra Nova and her fortress. The price for this peace was simply providing Alioth with its desired “food.”

The Dead Giant Body of Ant-Man

Was Deadpool mistaken, then? Because the colossal corpse of Ant-Man, which served as home for Cassandra Nova, implies that Paul Rudd no longer ages since he’s deceased. After all, nobody grows older once they’re dead.

Obviously Scott Lang has looked better.

Steve Rogers…’ Fiery Variant Johnny Storm

One surprising turn of events in the movie featuring Deadpool and Wolverine was the reappearance of Chris Evans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). However, it wasn’t a version of his existing MCU character that he portrayed. Initially, Deadpool believed this to be the case. But in fact, Evans brought to life an alternate version of his original Marvel hero character – the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four.

Based on his strong resemblance to Earth-616’s Steve Rogers, it is likely that this individual is a variant of the original Captain America. In simpler terms, they might be a different version of Steve Rogers from another universe, but still deserving of being included in the list. It could be an intricacy, but we can’t change reality or transform ourselves into something else just to avoid it.

….Please don’t.
