Every Live-Action Baroque Works Agent Introduced in ONE PIECE Season 2’s New Trailer

What Is the Baroque Works Crime Syndicate on One Piece?

After watching the season two trailer for One Piece, I immediately wondered who exactly Baroque Works is in this world. Luckily, the trailer gives us a pretty good introduction! It seems like Baroque Works is basically an organization of assassins – think of Zoro, but a whole group. But it’s not just pirates they’re after; even Garp, one of the most respected Marines, said they started as just a rumor, a dark secret. I get the feeling these agents, who operate in the shadows, are about to become a major threat. They’re described as a dangerous and powerful secret society, and many of them have Devil Fruit powers! They use code names based on numbers and days to hide who they are, and it looks like they all answer to a mysterious leader. We don’t know what Baroque Works is ultimately after yet, but I’m bracing myself for some serious trouble for all our favorite One Piece characters in the new season. Here’s what I’ve gathered about the Baroque Works agents we see in the trailer.

Charithra Chandran will play the Baroque Works Agent Miss Wednesday

I’m so excited about the introduction of Miss Wednesday, played by Charithra Chandran! She’s partnered with Mr. 9 from Baroque Works, and like most of their agents, they work as a team. While she doesn’t have any Devil Fruit powers, she’s incredibly skilled with her unique weapon – these amazing, razor-sharp discs called ‘Kujakki (Peacock) Slashers’ that she throws with incredible precision. With her striking blue hair, she’s definitely going to cause some trouble for the Straw Hat Pirates. I have a feeling we’ll first meet her in Whiskey Peak, which is one of the first adventures the crew has in the Grand Line!

Lera Abova will play Miss All-Sunday on One Piece Season 2

Lera Abova is captivating as the alluring yet dangerous Miss All-Sunday. While the trailer for One Piece season two doesn’t fully showcase her abilities, fans will remember she ate the Hana-Hana Devil Fruit. This allows her to create and sprout parts of her body from any surface – people, metal, wood, you name it! It’s a bit unsettling! As the Vice President of Baroque Works, Miss All-Sunday is second-in-command and works directly with the organization’s leader.

David Dastmalchian will play Baroque Works Agent Mr. 3

We already knew David Dastmalchian would be playing Mr. 3 in the second season of One Piece, but seeing the character come to life is amazing! He looks like he stepped right out of the manga or anime. Netflix’s live-action adaptation is successfully bringing even the most over-the-top and unusual elements of One Piece to the screen, and it looks effortless. Mr. 3 is a formidable agent of Baroque Works with the Doru Doru Devil Fruit power, which lets him create and control candle wax, turning it into a dangerous weapon. He can manipulate the wax whether it’s liquid or solid, and when hardened, it’s incredibly strong – even stronger than steel! We can expect to see Mr. 3 when the Straw Hat Pirates arrive at Little Garden.

Camrus Johnson will play Mr. 5 on One Piece Season 2

I’m already completely captivated by Camrus Johnson’s portrayal of Mr. 5 in One Piece season two! Even though he’s one of the lower-ranked Baroque Works Agents, the trailer shows he’s unbelievably cool. It looks like we’ll first meet him in Whiskey Peak alongside his partner, Miss Valentine. And his Devil Fruit power? Seriously amazing! He can turn any part of himself – even his bodily fluids – into explosions. It’s such a deliciously dangerous ability!

Jazzara Jaslyn will play the Baroque Works Agent Miss Valentine

In season two of One Piece, Jazzara Jaslyn will voice Miss Valentine, the partner of Mr. 5’s Baroque Works. Viewers will meet Miss Valentine when the Straw Hat Pirates arrive in Whiskey Peak. She ate the Kiro Kiro Devil Fruit, giving her the ability to control her weight – she can become as light as 1 kilogram or as heavy as 10,000 kilograms! This power lets her float with her umbrella or deliver incredibly powerful attacks by increasing her weight dramatically.

Daniel Lasker will play Mr. 9 on One Piece Season 2

The new trailer for the second season of the live-action One Piece series introduces Mr. 9, who will be portrayed by Daniel Lasker. The show seems to have perfectly captured his signature style, complete with his crown and elaborate clothing. Mr. 9, a partner of Miss Wednesday, will make his appearance in the town of Whiskey Peak. He doesn’t have any Devil Fruit abilities, but he’s a skilled fighter who relies on metal baseball bats and impressive acrobatics.

Sophia Anne Caruso will play the Baroque Works Agent Miss Goldenweek

Miss Goldenweek, portrayed by Sophia Anne Caruso, appears to be a harmless child, but she’s actually incredibly dangerous. She’s an artist who uses her paintings and a form of hypnosis to manipulate people’s emotions. The color of paint she uses determines how she changes their personality – it’s a truly frightening ability. We’ll first encounter Miss Goldenweek on Little Garden, working with her fellow Baroque Works member, Mr. 3.

The first season of the live-action One Piece series is now available on Netflix, and season two will be released on March 10th.
