Usually discreet about her relationship with Gosling, Mendes, aged 51, shared a touching tribute on Instagram last Friday. In this special post, she acknowledged her longtime partner, Gosling, aged 44, for his efforts in advocating for stunt performers during the “Fall Guy” promotional tour. Her Instagram post included images of Gosling with the film’s stunt team and articles emphasizing his campaign to have stunt work acknowledged by the Academy.

Mendes boasted about his man being the top tier (F best) as he announced, with pride, that after almost a century of being neglected, stunt work is going to be recognized as an award category at the Oscars, beginning with films released in 2027.

She went on to say, ‘Success is largely determined by its performance at the box office.’ So, I’m especially proud of my partner for transforming his entire ‘Fall Guy’ media tour into an effort to gain recognition for stunts at the Oscars.

Besides offering his heartfelt congrats for the historic victory, Mendes playfully teased the stunt community by hinting at posting a picture of Gosling along with his co-star, Emily Blunt. He affectionately referred to her as a “stunning beauty” and exclaimed, “That’s enough!” in Portuguese.
