‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Officially Confirms Release Window with New Stars Joining the Cast

The popular HBO show *Euphoria* will be back for a third season in spring 2026, with both returning and new actors joining the cast.

Created by Sam Levinson, the show centers on Rue, a teenager battling drug addiction, and her experiences with school, family, and getting better. The second season, which came out in 2022, was HBO’s most popular non-fantasy show and received an impressive 25 Emmy nominations, ultimately winning nine awards.

Season 3 is adding 18 new actors to the cast, with Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Eli Roth among them.

The cast is growing with new additions like Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon, and Sam Trammell. Joining them are returning actors Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Melvin Bonez Estes, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner.

Dominic Fike is coming back as Elliot, the musician known for getting into mischief, according to Variety. Nika King, who plays Rue’s mom, Leslie, will also be returning, after previous production issues caused some difficulties with her schedule.

Let’s talk about the cast – thankfully, all our favorites are back! Zendaya continues to shine, and we get more from Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, and the always fantastic Colman Domingo. It’s really great to see the core group returning to drive the story.

Season 3 previously featured new cast members like Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Anna Van Patten, and Asante Blackk. This season will see some familiar faces missing, including Storm Reid (Gia) and Barbie Ferreira, who departed the show in 2022. Sadly, Angus Cloud, known for his role as Fezco, passed away in 2023 at the young age of 25.

The production is gaining some major talent. Colleen Atwood, a four-time Oscar winner for costume design, is joining as a co-producer, and Natasha Newman-Thomas will handle the costumes. Francois Audouy is on board as the production designer. For the music, Hans Zimmer will be composing the score for Season 3, and Labrinth, who created the music for the first two seasons, is also returning.

Filming for Season 3 is now underway in Los Angeles, despite some earlier setbacks. The new season will feature both familiar faces and fresh characters, all brought to life by a talented production team, and aims to deliver the same gripping and emotional stories fans expect from *Euphoria*.
