The trailer shows Joan arriving in the afterlife, where people have a week to decide how they want to live for eternity. Though she appears young, Joan lived a full life – she was married to her husband for 65 years and had children. She also unexpectedly meets her first love, who died young. Now, she has to choose between spending forever with the man she built a life with, or seeing what might have been if she’d been with her first love. It’s a touching and humorous look at love, commitment, and what it means to live forever.
What Is the Release Date for Eternity?
The most surprising and humorous ending would be if she decided to spend eternity alone, enjoying life on her own terms. While love is wonderful, perhaps after a lifetime of being with someone, she simply wants to enjoy the afterlife independently. We’ll find out what Elizabeth Olsen decides when *Eternity* comes out in theaters on November 26th.
