2025 promises an enthralling year for ESO enthusiasts! After the ESO Direct on April 10th, Bethesda unveiled their content strategy for 2025, starting with a fresh narrative and locale. The Seasons of the Worm Cult will guide players to Western Solstice, where the Worm Cult resurfaces and seeks retribution. This new content will be divided into two segments, each launching at distinct times throughout the year.

ESO Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1 Release Date

Commencing with “Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1”, players can immerse themselves in this narrative starting from June 2 (PC/Mac) and June 18 (Xbox and PlayStation consoles). A preliminary quest titled “A Guild in Crisis” is already accessible, available through the in-game Crown Store at no cost.

The upcoming Western Solstice event brings fresh hurdles and benefits such as novel World Bosses, Delves, a Public Dungeon, and an innovative Trial called the Ossein Cage. Players will chase after 16 Antiquities (which include three new Mythic items), four new Trial item sets (including refined versions), along with numerous other rewards like Collectibles, crafting blueprints, and pets. Additionally, there’s a 10% experience boost for those exploring during the Solstice throughout the entire year.

Worm Cult’s Season Part 2 – Awaited Arrival in Q4 of 2025

As of now, there isn’t a specific release date announced for the second part of the Worm Cult Seasons, but it is scheduled to come out in the last quarter of 2025. This upcoming episode is included in the 2025 Content Pass. Mark your calendars for two separate dates: one for PC/Mac users and a subsequent date for Xbox and PlayStation players.

This time, adventurers will find themselves in Eastern Solstice, where the locals are far less hospitable compared to the previous region.

In the second segment, you’ll encounter additional World Bosses, Delves, another common area dungeon, and fresh rewards that are unique to this content as well as accessible throughout Solstice region. Prepare for three new sets of overland equipment, an additional three Mythic items, and a wealth of collectibles to acquire.

Writhing Wall Event Start Date

Tucked between the two plot twists is an exciting event called the Writhing Wall, set for release in Q3/Q4 2025. In this cooperative endeavor, players from Tamriel will join forces to defeat the Writhing Wall, a unique occurrence that could alter the world forever.
