Eric Mabius, famously recognized for his character in Ugly Betty, has recently been taken into custody in Nassau County, Florida. According to an article by Deadline, the performer is under suspicion for an alleged instance of battery.
The article implies that he was taken into custody around 2 am on Thursday morning, an early hour. Later, at 5:45 am, Mabius was admitted to the Nassau County Jail and Detention Center.

According to USA Today’s report, a woman, who is said to be a victim, submitted a statement in writing stating that the actor forcefully pushed her and another woman to the ground and attempted to yank her hair from its roots.
Eric Mabius is well-known for his portrayal of Daniel Meade on the ABC series Ugly Betty. He played this character over four seasons, from 2006 to 2010. In addition, he has appeared in recurring roles on shows like The L Word, The O.C., and Chicago Fire.
It’s worth noting that Eric Mabius played the character of Oliver O’Toole not only in the Hallmark Channel series called Signed, Sealed, Delivered but also in their movie spin-offs.
