In the initial installment of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, entitled ‘I’m Here,’ we are introduced to Koichi Haimawari, a college student who possesses the unassuming ability known as ‘Slide and Glide.’ He discreetly assists those in need within his town and gains the moniker ‘Nice Guy.’ As the story unfolds, he encounters Soga Kugazaki’s gang and witnesses them assaulting Pop☆Step, a street entertainer.
In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I found myself in an unexpected predicament when I had to intervene but ended up needing rescue – this time from Knuckleduster, an enigmatic, unlicensed fighter on a mission to unravel the truth behind the Quirk-enhancing drug Trigger. Knuckleduster saw potential in my abilities and recruited me, along with Pop, to aid him in exposing its distribution. As we prepared to confront a shady individual, our progress was halted abruptly by Eraser Head’s intervention.
In Episode 2 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Koichi, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster’s detective work is suddenly disrupted when Eraser Head mistakenly identifies them as villains. As Knuckleduster confronts Eraser Head, a fight ensues. Meanwhile, Soga and his group, now endowed with powers by Trigger, will reappear seeking retribution.
As a colossal antagonist emerges, the already chaotic Naruhata district may experience even more turmoil. This means that Koichi and Pop are about to find themselves in the thick of an increasingly serious predicament as their actions as vigilantes become increasingly life-threatening.
