As a diehard film buff, I’m thrilled about the ongoing expansion of the Aliens and Avengers crossover! The masterminds behind ‘Aliens Vs. Avengers,’ Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic, are back, bringing in fresh factions to keep things interesting. In the first two issues, we’ve seen unexpected elements like Black Panther’s son and Spider-Man sporting a new symbiote-Xenomorph suit. The upcoming ‘Aliens Vs. Avengers’ #3 promises more excitement as we welcome X-Men’s own villain, Mister Sinister, who’s been seen inspecting an alien creature – a hint at his role in the narrative. ComicBook has graciously shared a sneak peek for fans, and let me tell you, there’s a lot to dissect!
Mr. Sinister and his duplicates are examining a tiny extraterrestrial organism. Given Mr. Sinister’s fascination with alien genetics, it’s no wonder he’s drawn to it, yet the specifics of his intentions for this creature in the narrative have yet to be revealed.
In the meantime, Miles Morales, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man – having fled Earth due to an alien attack – touch down on a strange planet boasting advanced architecture. Suddenly, Iron Man receives a message pointing towards a notable site, prompting the team to explore it.
In no time, they find themselves squared off against a horde of Xenomorphs, triggering an electrifying skirmish. Iron Man and Captain Marvel unleash bursts of energy, while Spider-Man employs his webs in combat. The struggle is fierce, and for a moment, even Iron Man seems to lose grip against one of the Aliens, but by the end of the sneak peek, he regains control.
In the upcoming issue, although only Mister Sinister from the X-Men team is featured in the sneak peek, it seems that the X-Men as a whole will take on a more significant part in the following storyline. Given that several Avengers have already met their demise, readers can now look forward to understanding how the X-Men are handling this crisis, which they began to address in issue #1. The full issue is set for release on February 19th.
