Epic LEGO T. rex Fossil Set is Every Jurassic Fan’s Dream!

For several years, we’ve been creating various LEGO structures based on memorable scenes from both the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World series. It seems we just can’t tire of those terrifying dinosaurs, not even in their brick form. Recently, LEGO and Universal Pictures have unveiled a new set from Jurassic World: Dinosaur Fossils – Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex). This is the largest LEGO Jurassic World set ever built. It showcases an intricate T. rex fossil skeleton that measures approximately 1 meter (over 3 feet) long. You can take a look at the initial images of this 3,145-piece LEGO set in our gallery below.

As a die-hard Jurassic Park fan, I can’t help but be thrilled about the latest addition to my LEGO collection – the LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils set! This bad boy is packed with intricate details that truly bring the dinosaur to life. It boasts articulated joints, allowing for a movable head, an opening and closing jaw, posable arms, and even a flexible tail. Customizable displays are now within reach!

But wait, there’s more! This set comes with a display stand and an informative plaque, perfect for showcasing this magnificent creation. And if you’re a fan of Easter eggs, get ready to spot hidden references from the 30-year history of the Jurassic Park franchise, like that iconic amber piece!

To make it even better, two of my all-time favorite characters are joining the set in Minifigure form. Say hello to Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant, brilliantly portrayed by Laura Dern and Sam Neill in the original films. I can’t wait to add them to my Jurassic Park adventure!

The latest LEGO Jurassic World collection comes with a coffee-table booklet that provides intriguing design insights, notable moments from the movies, and fascinating T. rex dinosaur facts. For an even more engaging experience, LEGO enthusiasts can utilize the LEGO Builder app. The LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex set is now available for early access to LEGO Insiders starting March 12 (link provided), and will be accessible to everyone from March 15 at LEGO Stores. Priced at $249.99 U.S., € 249.99, and £219.99, this set is a great build as we countdown to the release of Jurassic World: Rebirth in July.
