In an exciting turn of events, “My Hero Academia” and “Marvel Studios” have joined forces for a unique project. On February 6th, both parties officially announced their collaboration to coincide with the release of the movie “Captain America: Brave New World”. This partnership brings together two winged heroes – Hawks from “My Hero Academia” and the new Captain America, Sam Wilson.
In a recent update, the account for “My Hero Academia” posted a new image with both characters depicted. Meanwhile, Marvel Studios released a unique video that was voiced by Yūichi Nakamura. This voice actor lends his talents to Hawks in the anime and also provided the dubbing for Chris Evans’ Captain America in various Marvel movies such as “The Avengers” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”.
Later on, the video was shared on the YouTube channel of TOHO animation, featuring scenes from My Hero Academia, previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, and Brave New World. It connected these two characters through their flying skills.

The video got uploaded to the YouTube channel owned by TOHO animation at a later time, displaying snippets of My Hero Academia, old Marvel Cinematic Universe films, and Brave New World. The clip linked the two characters via their shared power of flight.
It’s not the first instance where these two universes have intersected. In fact, as far back as 2018, My Hero Academia and Marvel Studios worked together for Avengers: Infinity War. This joint venture brought together characters such as Deku, Bakugo, Ochaco, Iida, Todoroki, and All Might with figures like Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Thor, and the Hulk.
Currently, our attention shifts towards the dynamic duo, Hawks and Sam Wilson, who soar through the skies on mighty wings – one born naturally, the other forged from steel.
