On July 16th, Emma Roberts and Cody John announced their engagement with a delightful picture on Instagram. The image showed them beaming after the proposal, with Emma humorously commenting “Putting this here before my mom spills the beans,” hinting at her mother, Kelly Cunningham, who had shared photos of Roberts’ son online without prior notification to Roberts.

Within a few days of their engagement announcement, the couple graced the Summer Ball hosted by Gala One, held in the picturesque town of Gassin, France. In contrast to one another, Roberts donned a sleek black maxi dress with no straps, while John opted for a smart black shirt with buttons and stylish camel-colored pants with pinstripes.

As someone who has spent years following Cody’s career in Hollywood, I must say that his latest Instagram posts have given me a whole new perspective on the man behind the roles he plays on screen. Seeing him and Roberts enjoying a vacation aboard a yacht, laughing with friends, and holding hands in their own post, it is clear that there is a genuine connection between them, beyond just their professional lives.

Roberts prefers to maintain her romantic life as a private matter.
