This demon had been lingering for a long time, and she had initially hesitated to participate in the expose. This, as Leroy tells Netflix’s publication Tudum, would jeopardize her on-screen husband Laurent’s project. “Also, it’s an old story that she kind of buried in her subconscious that she doesn’t want to bring up because it is obviously painful,” she adds. 

Now, in her senior role, Sylvie Grateau feels a sense of obligation towards the younger women who have faced similar circumstances. As Leroy puts it, “Younger women are vocal, and they should be,” but Grateau believes she has a duty to demonstrate that “We don’t need to endure those hardships as a given.” Indeed, Grateau is expected to emerge as a more intricate character, according to Leroy.

The fourth season of Emily in Paris is being released in two segments. The initial part has already been released on Netflix, earning positive feedback from viewers and critics. The storyline continues from where Season 3 left off, featuring Camille and Gabriel’s “unfortunate wedding.” Throughout the series, Emily (portrayed by Lily Collins) navigates a complicated love triangle involving Gabriel and Alfie.
