As a die-hard fan of Emily in Paris, the anticipation for the Rome-set episodes is absolutely palpitating! Lily Collins‘ tease about her character needing “her girls” in Rome has me more excited than a poodle with two sticks. The prospect of seeing our beloved Emily navigate Italian waters alongside her fabulous friends is like a delectable tiramisù for my soul.
The popular Netflix series “Emily in Paris” is preparing for a move to Rome, and actress Lily Collins, who portrays Emily Cooper, has shared some insights about what viewers might anticipate in the forthcoming episodes.
During a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress discussed potential developments for her character in Rome and the possibility of additional characters joining forces with Cooper as they embark on fresh journeys within the new European city.
I was overjoyed to be in the company of my fellow cast members from our beloved Netflix series during a recent gathering – Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Bruno Gouery, and Samuel Arnold. Their shared enthusiasm for what’s to come in the upcoming season was truly infectious, as we all took turns discussing our characters’ futures.
Lily Collins mentioned her plans for her upcoming trip to Rome and stressed that she wouldn’t want to go there on her own. Instead, she expressed the need for her friends, stating “It will be fun moments, but I mean, I need my girls.” She also suggested making this trip a shared experience by saying, “We have to figure out a way to make it a group adventure!” This hint at the group dynamics of Rome has definitely piqued our curiosity!
After the Darren Star’s series got renewed for another season on the streaming platform, Collins openly expressed her thoughts about it to a media outlet a few days later, giving assurance to the fans that there will be more to look forward to in the future.
According to what the show’s creator shared in an interview with The Wrap, there’s a possibility that Camille Razat, who portrays Camille on the series, may not appear in season 5. However, the creator hinted that she could reappear in future episodes, saying “I think she’ll always be connected to the show – she’s part of their world, and I can’t definitively say we won’t see her again.” He added that Camille’s storyline will continue.
He further stated that he has no idea when the fans will see the French actress again.
Simultaneously, the actress known for playing Love Rosie expressed her desire to immerse herself in Italy, as well as have her character temporarily disconnect from social media and avoid using her phone for some time.
During the final season of Emily in Paris, viewers encountered Cooper embarking on a journey to Italy, where they met a fresh character, Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini. This newcomer became Cooper’s romantic interest.
Beyond this, Lucas Bravo discussed Gabrielle’s character evolution throughout the series from the very beginning of the show. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he expressed a desire for something unique by saying, “I was seeking something distinct.
Additionally, he mentioned, “I maintain a completely clean-shaven look at all times. Going without shaving for five months just isn’t pleasant, neither for your skin nor your spirit. I attempted to grow some scruff, but I believe others find it unpleasant.
The makers will soon roll out the new season’s details and potential new characters.
