I’d like to express my gratitude to the esteemed members of the Academy for bestowing the Best Actress nomination upon me, and for extending an invitation to attend the awards ceremony. Your recognition means a great deal to me.
The actress expressed her delight about the event, calling it “enjoyable” and “entertaining”, further noting that “Jimmy Kimmel was simply marvelous as the host; he’s becoming increasingly reminiscent of Conan O’Brien each day.
For those who might not know, during the Oscars ceremony, the host, Conan O’Brien, playfully reminded Karla that if she was going to tweet about the awards show, she should address it as though Jimmy Kimmel were hosting instead.
The artist expressed in her post that she was overjoyed to have embraced numerous friends and associates upon her return. She made sure to acknowledge all the winners of the evening and even gave a shout-out to her fellow actor, Zoë Saldaña, who was awarded the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in Emilia Pérez. Additionally, she recognized songwriter Camille and composer Clément Ducol, both of whom triumphed that night for their work on the film’s track El Mal.
