Emilia Clarke, 39, Dazzles in Sheer Lace, Flaunting Her Cleavage in a Throwback Shot

A stunning photo from the 2025 Global Gift Gala in London is getting attention again, reminding everyone why Emilia Clarke is a red carpet star. She wowed in a daring yet elegant sheer black Alexander McQueen gown at the event, which was held at the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel and brought together many famous faces for a night of charity and fashion.

Clarke wore a stunning gown with a low, sheer neckline and beautiful floral lace. Striking cut-outs on the sides gave the dress a sophisticated edge. The long dress flowed into a ruffled hem and a delicate tulle train, creating a dramatic effect with every step. She completed her look with elegant Chaumet jewelry, including pearl earrings, and styled her hair in soft waves swept to the side.

The event raised money for several charities, including SameYou, an organization dedicated to brain injury recovery that Clarke helped establish. Clarke has been a strong voice for brain injury awareness ever since she recovered from two aneurysms earlier in her career.

She explained that because one in three people experience a brain injury at some point in their lives, it’s crucial to have adequate support systems in place. She emphasized that attending the event was about amplifying the voices of those affected and ensuring no one has to face the challenges of recovery by themselves.

Since photos from the gala are still being shared online, Clarke has been actively working on new projects in 2026. She’s the star of “Ponies,” a spy thriller that debuted on Peacock on January 15th. In the show, she plays Bea Grant, a secretary at the American Embassy in Moscow in 1977 who becomes a CIA agent after experiencing a personal loss. Clarke is also a producer for the series.

As a total film buff, I was really struck by what director Natta Clarke said about ‘Ponies’. She explained that what makes the movie so exciting is how it gives a voice to women who’ve been overlooked by history, letting them finally tell their own stories. It’s incredibly empowering to see that on screen.

In addition to her television work, Clarke is set to appear in several films. These include the thriller McCarthy, where she plays Jean Kerr, the wife of Senator Joseph McCarthy, and An Ideal Wife, a biographical film about Constance Lloyd, Oscar Wilde’s wife. Both roles are anticipated to showcase her talent for dramatic performances and stories set in the past.

Clarke successfully juggles her busy acting career with her charitable efforts, demonstrating she’s a powerful figure both on and off screen. Whether it’s her current red carpet looks or photos from the past, she consistently captures the attention of people around the world.
