Elon Musk Disappointed With Dana Carvey’s Impression Of Him; Says, ‘SNL Has Been Dying Slowly’

As a longtime fan of Saturday Night Live (SNL), I must admit that the recent turn of events has left me both amused and slightly disheartened. On one hand, I’ve always admired Dana Carvey’s comedic genius, and his ability to transform into such diverse characters is nothing short of remarkable. His portrayal of Joe Biden was spot-on, and the transition to Elon Musk was a surprising yet entertaining twist.

In a recent episode of Saturday Night Live, Dana Carvey changed his portrayal from Joe Biden to Elon Musk. This comedic skit was shown following the presidential elections, and Carvey first appeared on stage dressed as Musk.

Nonetheless, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, expressed some displeasure with it and criticized the comedian in response on X. Musk, who had also taken up hosting duties in 2021, went so far as to call out SNL, suggesting that the show is gradually losing its relevance.

On his social media, Elon Musk expressed his thoughts about Carvey’s sketch, stating, “Saturday Night Live has been gradually losing its relevance as it seems to drift further away from the real world.

Additionally, he strongly condemned the creators of the show for inviting Kamala Harris, who was joined by Carvey and Rudolph. Elon Musk, the CEO of Space X, continued by expressing, “This desperate attempt to fulfill equal airtime obligations and boost Kamala’s profile before the election backfired, instead contributing significantly to her campaign’s decline.

In response to a prolonged critique of Dana Carvey’s portrayal, Musk posted another comment on X, asserting that at no moment did he perceive the actor as impersonating him. Elon mentioned that the comedian merely portrayed himself and no one else. He penned, “Dana Carvey simply sounds like Dana Carvey.

At the same time, the audience members found themselves immersed in the situation as well. One spectator held the opinion that the Saturday Night Live producers were incredibly frustrated due to Donald Trump’s election as President of the United States.

In the initial segment of the November 9th episode, Dana appeared wearing a black suit and a hat bearing the slogan “Make America Great Again.” As he bounded onto the stage, Elon Musk proclaimed, “Now I’m in charge. America will be similar to one of my rockets: They’re incredibly exciting, but there’s a small possibility they might explode, resulting in everyone’s demise.

In a turn of events, I found myself in the spotlight when I was asked to host Saturday Night Live. However, the producers’ choice sparked controversy, and I encountered a wave of criticism from the viewers.

Donald Trump, too, appeared on SNL in 2015, ahead of the elections at the time.
