Elliot Page Joins Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ Cast

It’s been revealed that new actors joining Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic, “The Odyssey,” include Elliot Page, a familiar face to Nolan from their collaboration on the film “Inception.

Apart from Elliot Page, Nolan has also enlisted Himesh Patel (from Tenet) and Bill Irwin (from Interstellar). After Oppenheimer, Nolan is also working with Benny Safdie again, and Samantha Morton has also joined the team – this will be a first collaboration for her and the two-time Oscar nominee.

Per the norm, the roles are being kept under wraps.

Nolan often works with the same actors on his films. For instance, Matt Damon appears in The Odyssey, as well as Oppenheimer and Interstellar, which are two other movies directed by Nolan. Similarly, Anne Hathaway was in The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar, while Robert Pattinson starred in Tenet. Additionally, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal are also part of the cast.

Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film adaptation of “The Odyssey” is set to be filmed across the Egadi and Aeolian Islands in Sicily, including Favignana. Filming is expected to commence within a few months, with a total production period of 50 days. It’s been reported that approximately 400 rooms have been reserved in Favignana, Lipari, and Vulcano for the film crew.
