Elle Fanning recently partnered with L’Oreal Paris, appearing in a stylish video that combined the brand’s established image with a contemporary aesthetic. On February 3rd, she shared a post on Instagram showing off a chic power suit and revealing details about her personal skincare regimen. This comes during an exciting time for Fanning, who just received her first Academy Award nomination for her role in the critically praised film, Sentimental Value.
Okay, so the actress totally nailed her look with this charcoal vest. It was really sharp – tailored, sleeveless, and with a strong shape. I loved how it blended a kind of classic menswear vibe with something softer and more feminine. It wasn’t frilly or anything, super structured and clean, but the deep V-neck kept it from feeling stuffy or like a suit. It felt modern and cool, you know? Definitely a fashion moment.
Staying true to the suit’s sophisticated look, Fanning kept her styling simple and chic. She only wore a thin gold bracelet and styled her blonde hair in her classic, polished waves with a side part. During the makeup tutorial, she featured a serum designed for sensitive skin, explaining that finding gentle products is a key part of her skincare routine.

She also shared a recommendation for SPF cream, emphasizing how important sun protection is for everyone. Aside from her work with beauty brands, Fanning has had a fantastic year, including a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 98th Academy Awards. Her latest role is in the film Sentimental Value, where she plays Rachel Kemp, an American actress caught up in the complex relationships within the family of a renowned director, played by Stellan Skarsgård.
I’ve been absolutely blown away by this film – the critics are raving, and it’s earned a stunning nine Oscar nominations! What’s particularly exciting is seeing Dakota Fanning really shine in these intricate, layered roles. And if you haven’t already, you should check out ‘Predator: Badlands’ – she’s incredible in it! She played twins, both synthetic androids named Thia and Tessa, and completely dominated the screen alongside Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. It was a huge hit online all throughout January, and I can definitely see why!
Fanning will soon be part of the hugely popular Hunger Games franchise, appearing in the new prequel, Sunrise on the Reaping. She’ll play a young Effie Trinket, alongside Kieran Culkin as Caesar Flickerman. The film is expected to be a big hit during the holiday season and represents another important milestone in Fanning’s career as she moves from being a child actor to a versatile leading star in Hollywood.
Beyond her film roles, she’s now starring in and producing the streaming miniseries, Margo’s Got Money Troubles. This comes after she recently appeared as Sylvie Russo alongside Timothée Chalamet in the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown.
