Okay, so Stardock just announced that their strategy game, Elemental: Reforged – you might remember they showed it off earlier this year – is hitting Early Access on PC on October 23, 2025. I’m really excited to finally get my hands on it and start playing!
Reforged is a revamped version of the 2010 game Elemental: War of Magic. The developers aim to fulfill the original game’s vision, which was limited by the technology available at the time. This new version will combine ideas from all the Elemental games, bringing together what was originally intended 15 years ago.
This fantasy strategy game lets you build your own empire and customize everything from your leaders and armies to the landscape itself. You’ll explore a vast world, complete quests, and shape the land to your liking in a freeform, sandbox experience.
Stardock originally announced they planned to release the game in February 2026, and weren’t considering an Early Access launch. However, due to overwhelming fan interest, CEO Bradley Wardell explained they’ve decided to use Early Access to allow players to help shape the final product and focus development on what fans want most.
