Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remake Coming Sooner Than Expected, It’s Claimed

Looks like I might be diving back into the world of Cyrodiil a bit earlier than anticipated, if the latest whispers from leak-master Nate The Hate are anything to go by.

On social media, Nate The Hate mentioned his anticipation for updates regarding the remake, suggesting they will be shared sometime this month or as late as April.

I’m excitedly sharing that the release might come earlier than our initial plan of June. However, I’m still diligently working to pin down the exact new release date for you all.

Previous whispers hint at a potential remake of the game, which is believed to be under production at Virtuous Games. This upcoming title is said to be constructed using Unreal Engine 5. It’s anticipated that there will be substantial adjustments to the gameplay mechanics, with the blocking system being one of them. Earlier speculation indicates that this new blocking system could incorporate aspects from the Dark Souls series. Additionally, it’s suggested that both the stealth and stamina systems will be overhauled to accommodate contemporary gaming standards.

It’s currently unknown what platforms the remake will release on.
